Household Inventory

A Household Inventory used in conjunction with Operation Identification can help identify lost or stolen property quickly.

What is Operation Identification?  It is something easy... You just have to go to a Police Community Station, borrow an engraving tool and engrave identifying marks (for example your driver's license number) into all your household items.  Once you're finished engraving, don't forget to return the engraver to the Police Station.

You might also consider taking photographs or a video of the contents of your home.  Don't forget to create back up copies and store them away from your home such as a safety deposit box.
